UPRM Student Housing Proposal

After a massive housing shortage impacted Mayagüez and surrounding areas , the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez (UPRM) sought to find a solution.
For my undergraduate thesis, I proposed The Housing Park of Mayagüez, to combat the housing shortage in Mayagüez, while providing a unique interconnected living experience for UPRM students, tourists and visitors, current Mayagüez residents, and incoming families. The purpose of the housing park is rooted in building sustainable connections between students and the Mayagüez community.
