As a massive housing shortage has impacted Mayagüez and surrounding areas , the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaüez (UPRM) sought to find a solution.
I proposed The Housing Park of Mayagüez to combat the current housing shortage in Mayagüez, while providing a unique interconnecting living experience for UPRM students, tourists and visitors, current Mayagüez residents, and incoming families. The purpose of the housing park is rooted in creating an environment that not only provides a thriving environment for anyone that visits, but that also provides a return on investment to the Puerto Rico economy.
