SICF Art Gala

Designer, Experiential + Graphics

‘Something I Can Feel’ (SICF) began as an idea created by curator, Dwight White to celebrate Juneteenth. As a celebration of Black creativity, our team created an immersive experience, while motivating people to simply, feel. SICF hosts an annual ‘Something I Can Feel’ event in celebration of Juneteenth to uplift and empower the local Chicago community.

In juxtaposition with the rugged textures and finishes of warehouse, the artwork tells a story that many artists are familiar with– beauty in what may appear as “unfinished.” We intentionally selected a historic warehouse for this event to encourage conversation about what is actually finished in the world of creativity.
